Nicki Minaj Turns Tryx

Saturday, April 9th, 2011

Purple People Eater

This morning, our always amusingly-coiffed Nicki Minaj gave her face muscles quite the workout as she unveiled the Casio Tryx Digital Camera Billboard in Times Square, New York.

Nicki went pose crazy atop an open-top bus before heading down (carefully in those shoes, we hope) to further promote Casio’s snapper from the safety and comfort of a podium.

Are rap superstar Drake and Nicki Minaj an item?

Life & Style magazine reports that Nicki, 26, and Drake, 24, were spotted “dancing and cuddling” at a New Year’s Eve party that Minaj hosted in Miami. The pair allegedly were spotted leaving the club together.

The two rappers have collaborated on songs together and taken the rap world by storm with their 2010 debut albums.

Drake raps that he “and Nicki Nick gettin’ married today” on Nicki’s song, “Moment 4 Life,” and he often refers to the rapper as his “wife” and “Mrs. Aubrey Drake Graham.”

Nicki Minaj Describes Mr. Right and talks about her acting ambitions.

Tuesday, December 28th, 2010

Wearing nothing but black lingerie and a silk dress shirt Nicki Minaj adorns the cover of the upcoming March/April issue of King magazine.

It seems like Ms. Minaj is looking for Mr. Right and in keeping with the festive season she sent her message to Santa in the guise of King Magazine……

“I look for someone who is calm, someone who is strong enough to not have to win every argument, someone who allows a woman to be her crazy self and someone with a conscience not to feel less of a man,” the radiant rap star told the magazine about her ideal of Mr. Right. “You know, someone who is able to honor his woman but also bring out the freak in his woman.

“Just being super aggressive when the time is right,” she added.

The young rapper who is a graduate of New York’s LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts also has a desire to become an actress.

We will have to see what the New Year brings for the young star.

The issue featuring Ms. Minaj will arrive on newsstands next month.

Rhumor’s giving Electronic Gifts this Christmas; and copies of The Guardian’s Chronicles – A New Dawn to power girls like Nicki Minaj and Lady Gaga

Sunday, December 5th, 2010

With only 14 shopping days to go till Christmas; time is as usual slipping away from me.  I really must get sorted out and start getting some lovely goodies for all my family and friends.

This year is going to be a little easier than norm as there is now the Kindle Book Selection; and (icing on cake) there is an amazing new book called A New Dawn that is currently available from the Kindle library.  It is the first volume of The Guardian’s Chronicles, a fantasy fiction epic and it is a real page turner.

Now I know that the book has been written by one of our Director’s and this could be seen as a ploy to get a bigger raise in the coming year, but really all joking aside, I am tipping ‘The Guardian’s Chronicles – A New Dawn’ as the next blockbuster, you will see what I mean when you read it.

I am defo sending a copy to Nicki Minaj and Lady GaGa as Sahara is such a powerful force  I know they will both love her.  Also sending poor Ashton Kutcher a copy to take his mind off his current situ; we don’t need to mention who with and give the opportunist even more publicity!

Another reason to give a Kindle Book is that should your friend find that your chosen literature is not to their taste they can exchange it without any fuss.

It makes giving electronic gifts so easy.  So I am going to give lots of them and send a free download for Kindle for those who have either read the book or don’t already have it.

You can get a Free Kindle download easily from this link;

Listen to Lil Kim Diss Nicki Minaj on New Song!

Saturday, November 27th, 2010

Nicki Minaj has received a lot of praise for her star-studded debut, Pink Friday but not everyone is in Minaj’s corner.

Rapper Lil Kim disses Nicki Minaj in “Black Friday,” in a new song that you can hear below and in addition also lashes out at Drake on “Black Friday,” insinuating that the rap game is too tough for the two relative newcomers.  ”Black Friday” gets straight to the point, with Lil Kim dissing Nicki Minaj as follows:

“I’m turning Pink Friday into Friday the 13th…aight, you Lil’ Kim clone clown, all this buffoonery sh*t stops now, time for you to lay down. I’m sick of the fraud, I’ll put hands on this b*tch like a spa massage…this his hood sh*t you and Drake ain’t built for. This sh*t the other b*tch almost got killed for.”

Lil Kim goes on to boast that she is on top whilst Nicki Minaj is on her “fourteenth minute of fame.”

What do you think.  A little bit of jealousy creeping in there?

America Musically Awarded at AMA’s

Monday, November 22nd, 2010
Purple People Eater: 11/22/2010

Last night, the 2010 American Music Awards were held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

As with any awards-based event that lures a horde of musicians, the fashions worn were… noteworthy?  Check out a few of our faves, including Willow Smith (wearing a cross between a straight jacket and a really expensive water wing) and her mom Jada Pinkett Smith (in glimmering goldenrod).

Miley Cyrus was looking better than we’ve ever seen her.  Seriously.  We were quite surprised.

Ke$ha
and Nicki Minaj tried to out-ridiculous each other.  Jury’s still out on who succeeded there…

Kelly Osbourne showed off her new trim fig’, Taylor Swift went long and blonde and heavily banged, while Rihanna rocked the red.

Who’s look did you like best?
