Story Ricky Gervais asked to host the Golden Globes in 2012The furor has settled and Ricky Gervais says he has been asked to return as host of the Golden Globes next year after the comedic actor outraging his star-studded audience.

There was disapproval from several celebrities, as well as event organizers, who labeled the jokes “totally unacceptable.”

Even after Gervais refused to apologize it would appear that he has already been invited to front the ceremony for a third time in 2012.  He revealed that he is considering snubbing the invite as he doesn’t think he can top his recent appearance.

In Britain’s Heat magazine, Gervais writes, “I did exactly what I went to do: improve on last year’s and have a laugh. The response was staggering. It was discussed on every news channel and chat show for weeks.”

“The weird thing is, the question is always, ‘Did Ricky go too far?’ And the answer is always, ‘No.’ I have yet to find anyone who was actually offended by it.”

“The ratings went up again, and the organizers asked me to consider a third year. (But) I don’t think I should. I don’t know what I could do better. I certainly couldn’t get more press for them, that’s for sure. You know me. Two seasons is enough.”

Hollywood Rises to defend Ricky Gervais!

It would appear at least some people got Ricky Gervais‘ sense of humor!  Which is hardly a surprise given his success in the US.

There may have been a lot of controversy surrounding his performance as host at last Sunday’s Golden Globes some of the actors who attended and others who watched the show have taken to Twitter and other outlets to defend him.

Here are just some of the comments:

Christian Bale:

“Thank God for comedians. I’m hoping he’s going to keep going further.”

Larry King:

“The folks who put him on the Globes have no right to complain about Ricky Gervais. He does what he does. Why should it surprise them? You agree?”

Andrew Garfield:

“He’s been terribly nasty and horribly rude and I think he’s genius.”

Elizabeth Banks:

“I thought RG was hilarious. Actors can take it. We have thick skins.”

Jon Stewart:

“[I'm] offended that a comedian could be that funny at an awards show.”

Lost writer Damon Lindelof:

“In case you forgot what made David Brent so brilliant, it’s that he made us feel unsafe, uncomfortable and unable to look away. BRAVORICKY.”

Jim Parsons:

“He started with a bang and went right for the jugular. It was great! I thought he was really funny. It’s like he walked up to the edge, and then he jumped right on over and didn’t look back. I was scandalized, I tell you. I think he’s hilarious and funny and whenever you’re funny, you’re gonna push some people’s buttons. I thought he was hilarious, but I wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end, I can tell you that. I was laughing while thinking, ‘Oh, God. Not me, never me.’”

Al Pacino:

“He’s a comic, so he’s going to go for it. He’s letting it go. You don’t know what [he's] going to say!”

Heather Morris:

“I thought he was hysterical. He was so dry. He’s funny as hell.”

Relativity CEO Ryan Kavanaugh:

“He was hilarious. I thought he was just perfect. If he knocked me, it’s all in good fun. If we take ourselves too seriously, then what are we doing here? He makes us realize that we are all here for reasons that go between skill and luck. Let’s enjoy it.”

I think you get the drift.

Don’t you think they should apologize?

This years Golden Globe host Ricky Gervais seems to be causing quite a stir in Hollywood.  It would appear that not all of his jokes were appreciated by his celebrity friends or the event organizers.

Hollywood Foreign Press Association President Philip Berk told The Hollywood Reporter that, “He (He being Ricky Gervais) definitely crossed the line. And some of the things were totally unacceptable. But that’s Ricky.”

“I had absolutely no idea what Ricky was going to say so anything I heard was heard was the same time you heard it,” Berk said. “When you hire Ricky Gervais, you expect the unexpected.

Now it seems according to Rob Shuter of PopEater that one Hollywood Foreign Press Association told him that Gervais will not return as host — nor will he ever get nominated for a Golden Globe.  Nice going there Ricky!

“Ricky will not be invited back to host the show next year, for sure,” the HFPA member said. “For sure any movie he makes he can forget about getting nominated. He humiliated the organization last night and went too far with several celebrities whose representatives have already called to complain.”

What were they thinking in the first place, have they never seen Gervais in any interviews or watched his shows?

Kate Hudson has boob job!

New photos of Kate Hudson’s breast implants are emerging and all I can say is holy boob job there is no denying this Kate. Oh yes Ms. Hudson is showing a fuller bust if you will but don’t worry we don’t have another Heidi Montag2 bing Kate Hudson has boob job! on our hands here. I do however have some pictures of Kate and a video too.

Kate Hudson has gotten herself some breast implants but they are not tacky. Nope Kate showed great restraint, there are no triple D’s spilling out of a much too small swimsuit for her. I have to say they and she look really good. I am however a little shocked that Kate went down this route. After all in 2002 at the Golden Globesmag glass 10x10 Kate Hudson has boob job! Hudson seemed proud of her smaller chest, she even had this to say about it.

I have small breasts, obviously. It’s nice to be able to wear a plunging neckline and have it be elegant.

Apparently that is no longer a true statement.

There is no question that Kate is gorgeous no matter what size boobs she has but her recent upgrade in the chest area proves that even beautiful celebrities can be self conscious of their bodies too. Although I am so not a fan of any sort of plastic surgery I do give Kate credit for keeping her new chest a decent size. She didn’t go crazy she just did a little upgrade. I know I already basically said that above but in a world where women, especially those in Hollywood2 bing Kate Hudson has boob job!, are going crazy in the fake boob department it is nice to see someone who didn’t. Kate Hudson got breast implants and she looks good with them but that is just my opinion. I want to know your thoughts, if you have any, on Kate’s new fuller chest!
