An awe struck Nadin thanked the players and tell Jackson, “You’re my favorite player of all time.”

On his Twitter page, Jackson had a lot of praise for Nadin saying;

Nadin is the real deal,” he tweeted. “He’s doin’ his best.”

Lana Lawless: Transgender Golfer Sues LPGA for Civil Rights Violation

Wednesday, October 13th, 2010

Lawless, a  transgender golfer, is suing the LPGA.  According to their rules and regulations their golfers must be “female at birth” in order to compete in LPGA events.

Lawless who underwent gender reassignment surgery in 2005 went on to win the women’s world championship in long-drive golf in 2008.

Due to a new policy change, she will no longer be able to compete in tournaments as a female golfer.

Lawless is trying to stop the LPGA from holding any events in California until they change their policies about gender.

Given the physical advantages a man would have must have been an influence on the LPGA’s decision.

Hershel Walker; amazing athlete at 50.

Monday, October 11th, 2010

Hershel Walker, Heisman Trophy winner, two-time Pro Bowler, College Football Hall of Famer, undefeated Mixed Martial Artist, track and field star, and Olympic bobsledder, Walker has compiled a list of athletic achievements that would make Jim Thorpe jealous.

And he’s still adding to the list at age 50.  At an age where an athlete is someone who can call himself a scratch golfer, Herschel Walker is competing in one of the most physically demanding sports out there.

His Mixed Martial Arts career is only a recent development, as he won his first fight in January of this year, 13 years after retiring from football.

Walker claims he does not use weights but does 3,500 sit-ups and 1,000 push-ups per day, in addition to pull-ups.

He is a strict vegetarian and says he eats only one meal a day.

Not only did Walker win the shot put while in high school, he also won the 100-yard dash, and 200-yard dash state championships an incredible feat. He has run the 100 meters in 10.22 seconds, not tremendously far from Olympic-quality numbers.

Despite not dominating the NFL as he probably could have (for various reasons, including his battle with Dissociative Identity Disorder), Walker still was a top running back for much of his career, especially while on the Dallas Cowboys.

During his college years at the University of Georgia, Walker was perhaps the greatest running back in college football history (check out how his ridiculous workouts paid off on this run).

Walker set the NCAA freshman rushing record en route to a national championship in his first year and won the Heisman his junior year while dominating college football.
