“Two and a Half Men” star Charlie Sheen, entered a rehabilitation center Friday after a night of wild partying.  His partying allegedly involving porn stars and heavy drug use that landed him in the emergency room.

The 45-year-old actor was taken to a Los Angeles area hospital Thursday and was there until around midnight for medical issues.

According to Sheen’s publicist Stan Rosenfield he is being treated for a hernia problem although Doctors have not yet disclosed the reason for Sheen’s hospitalization

According to TMZ, Sheen had spent was with Kacey Jordan, a 22-year-old adult movie star, along with other women for most of the night and according to Jordan Sheen received a “briefcase full of cocaine” during the night.

“I can’t comment because I have no idea if it’s true,” Rosenfield, told the site. “You choose to believe your source. I don’t.”

Sheen is out of the hospital and reportedly, has voluntarily agreed to enter an undisclosed rehabilitation center.

Robert Sargent Shriver Jr., a politician and activist who was the first leader of the Peace Corps and was involved in other social programs, died at the age of 95.

R. Sargent Shriver was honored today for his passion for helping others, his loving hugs and enjoyment of baseball.  His wife Eunice Shriver, the sister of the late John F. Kennedy, died in 2009 at age 88.

Sargent Shriver was a businessman and lawyer descended from a prominent Maryland family.  Shriver will be buried later Saturday in the same cemetery as his wife in Hyannis, Mass.

Shriver fulfilled his brother-in-law John F. Kennedy’s campaign promise by starting the Peace Corps.  The aid organization developed into an international force. Philanthropists and politicians were among hundreds honoring Shriver at a funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mercy Parish.

Some of Shriver’s 19 grandchildren read short remembrances about their grandfather.  They recalled his passion for helping people, his hugs and his love of baseball.

Anthony Shriver, welcomed the guests at his father’s funeral service before the Mass began.  He cracked a few jokes in honor of his father.

“He loved all people, all different types of people from all different backgrounds,” Anthony Shriver said.

He said his father had instructed him: “You tell Cardinal Wuerl to make Eunice a saint!” The crowd erupted in laughter.

Now chairman and CEO of the Special Olympics, Tim Shriver said his father never coddled the children but “coached us to pursue those big, big ideas.”

“Sarge” Shriver never chose to see the world as jaded and broken, Tim Shriver said. Instead, he saw it as “infused with God’s spirit. Awe breaking through at each moment.
I hope you, too, will carry a little ‘Sarge’ in you.”

Former NBC reporter and wife of former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenneger, Maria Shriver, said her family took comfort in “knowing that Daddy is in heaven with God and with Mummy.”

Jared Laughner has been named as the shooting suspect in the Representative Gabrielle Giffords case.  He is reportedly a 22 year old white male veteran of the Afghanistan War. More details yet to come and this information has not yet been confirmed.

Lindsay Lohan may have been released from rehab, but her new found freedom could be short lived according to officials at the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

The troubled actress violated her probation when she got into a fight with a former staff member at Betty Ford and the Sheriff’s Department released the following statement:

“Over the last few weeks, detectives for the Palm Desert Police Department’s Investigations Bureau have been investigating the battery between Ms. Lohan and a Betty Ford Center staff member, Dawn Holland. The lead investigator received a fax confirmation Monday from Ms. Holland’s attorney that she will no longer be cooperating with the investigation and does not wish to have charges filed with the Riverside County District Attorney’s Indio office for the battery.

This case however will be submitted to the District Attorney’s office as the investigation determined Ms. Lohan violated several aspects of her probation, including the battery. A copy of this investigation will be forwarded to the Los Angeles Probation Office. It is expected that this investigation will be sent to the District Attorney’s office later this week.”

Ms. Lohan could well find herself back behind bars.

As Crystal Harris, 24, flashes her diamond engagement ring on twitter, her fellow (former) Playmate Izabella St James reveals some rather sordid details about how he once treated his bevy of girlfriends in her memoir, excerpted in the Daily Mail.

Kendra Wilkinson has in the past talked about girls hopping “hopping on” Hef for a one-minute ride, while another former Playmate, Jill Ann Spaulding, criticized his insistence on having unprotected sex.

On the mess the dogs made in the house:
“They weren’t house-trained and would just do their business on the bedroom carpet. Late at night, or in the early hours of the morning – if any of us visited Hef’s bedroom – we’d almost always end up standing in dog mess. Everything in the Mansion felt old and stale, and Archie the house dog would regularly relieve himself on the hallway curtains, adding a powerful whiff of urine to the general scent of decay.”

On the Playmates’ weekly allowance:
“Every Friday morning we had to go to Hef’s room, wait while he picked up all the dog poo off the carpet – and then ask for our allowance: a thousand dollars counted out in crisp hundred-dollar bills from a safe in one of his bookcases. We all hated this process. Hef would always use the occasion to bring up anything he wasn’t happy about in the relationship. Most of the complaints were about the lack of harmony among the girlfriends – or your lack of sexual participation in the ‘parties’ he held in his bedroom.”

On sex with Hef:
“I wanted to see if this experienced King of Sexdom knew anything the rest of us did not. But he just lay there like a dead fish. We often wondered why he did it at all. He must know deep down that it is just a show. But he is trying to live out this fantasy he has been selling to people since 1954.”

It is really surprising that these girls are unable to see how damning the information that they are leaking is for them.  Hef may be no saint but they are not chained to the Playboy Mansion; they have chosen to be there!

TV’s Queen of chat Oprah Winfrey singled out Merle Haggard and Barbara Walters who found themselves on the receiving end of her proud response to her lifetime achievement award for the performing arts.

Other artists to receive the award were Paul McCartney, composer Jerry Herman and choreographer Bill T. Jones as well as Haggard.

Haggard the 73-year-old country musician spent three days with the group to celebrate the honor, and said “Ope” was “completely beside herself” about the award.

“I don’t think she’d ever been a recipient of much in her life,” he told Rolling Stone. “She reached over to me, leaned over and said, ‘You know, we’ve come the farthest.’”

Oprah, who was seated next to McCartney and Michelle Obama, gave the First Lady a “I told you so!” look and threw her hands in the air in apparent frustration.

“You know this Oprah, I’m totally responsible for your career,” Walters yelled up at her.  After a slight genuflection then Oprah shared another look with the President’s wife.

The small screen queen’s addition to the 2010 gala was considered controversial because she is not a performing artist, though Haggard had something to say about that.

“Television is certainly a modern method of communication that you can’t overlook and she’s probably the mother figure of that right now,” he told Rolling Stone. “I don’t know how anybody can say she wasn’t deserving of it.”

Unlike his action star persona Jason is the complete gentlemen taking care of the luggage and his lady through the airport.
