Courteney Cox talks with Harper’s Bazaar “I Will Have Waves of Pain” If I Divorce David

“Cougar Town” star, Courteney Cox, 46, initiated a trial separation from husband David Arquette last year.

Yet to Make up her mind about divorcing the troubled star Cox tells all in the April issue of Harper’s Bazaar, “I feel like we’ve been extremely successful at marriage.”

“If [the marriage] doesn’t work out, I will have huge waves of pain about failing in that department,” Cox admits.

“But right now I don’t have that because I don’t know what the future holds and I guess because I have strong feelings for him.”

The couple who married in 1999 have a daughter, Coco, 6.

Arquette, 37, checked out of rehab in January after some very high-profile meltdowns such as his appearance  on The Howard Stern Show.

About intimate details of their love life, “You can’t really get mad at David because he’s not a malicious person,” Cox muses. “He was dealing with things the best way he could.”

Then adds “Don’t get me wrong, he was on a show for entertainment. David is smart, and David is also a showman. He knew what he was doing.”

Her advice to other couples with problems? “[Be] willing to get real and messy,” she says. “I think you can only become stronger people, whether it’s together or apart. In the end, everything will be better.”

Regarding Arquette’s dalliance with another woman during their separation. “He absolutely did nothing that wasn’t in the boundaries of what we set for our separation, so there’s nothing to judge,” Cox says. “I may not have known about it, but that’s the only difference.”

Jake Gyllenhaal gets into Bathroom Brawl with Fan

      Credit: Brian Birzer/Wire

According to various sources, good guy Jake Gyllenhaal wasn’t too pleased when a fan tried to photograph him using the urinal.  And who can blame him?

Whilst Gyllenhaal was attending South by Southwest Film Festival, a clueless fan tried to do the deed only the actor wasn’t letting him get away with it. Gyllenhaal, 30, confirmed rumors of a “rather heated scuffle” in a movie theater bathroom when he spoke to EW on Saturday.

“That’s true,” he told the magazine, laughing. “I think it’s an appropriate space to keep privacy. I hope that people wouldn’t disagree with me on that.”

The Austin Chronicle‘s reporters tweeted the rumor that Gyllenhaal was seen “pinning some a**hole to the wall for taking a urinal Polaroid of him.” Film writer Erik Davis also tweeted the story, saying that Gyllenhaal “grabbed the dude mid-photo, threw him against the wall and was like, ‘are we really gonna do this right now?'”

His reps however are saying that accounts of the incident were highly exaggerated.

“There was no scuffle, it was an excited fan who tried to take his picture in the restroom,” Jake’s rep told E!. He asked the guy to please delete it and he did! No drama.”

Survivor star Richard Hatch Jail Time gets 9 months on violation

      Monday, March 14th, 2011
      Credit NBC

The first “Survivor” winner Richard Hatch, could be going back to jail.  On Friday he was ordered back to prison to serve a nine-month sentence for failing to pay taxes on the $1 million he won on the CBS reality show.

Hatch, spent more than three years in prison for tax evasion.  He was released in 2009, but had a three-year term of supervised release during which he was supposed to refile his 2000 and 2001 taxes and pay what he owed.  However he never did.

U.S. District Court Judge William Smith said Hatch had exhibited no remorse and had made no effort to comply with an order to pay his taxes.  He imposed a 9 month sentence after prosecutors recommended: six months – the maximum in the federal sentencing guidelines.

He said the term of supervised release, did not appear to be doing any good in Hatch’s case. He said a substantial sentence was required to send a message to Hatch and others who flout the court’s orders.

“You can continue to proclaim your innocence,” Smith said. “You don’t have the option of engaging in this type of game or negotiation with the court. It needs to be a severe punishment. That’s the only thing that will deter you in the future.”

He also ordered Hatch serve 26 months supervised release, during which time 25 percent of Hatch’s gross income would be garnished and paid directly to the IRS.  According to the Prosecutor Andrew Reich Hatch owes an estimated $2 million to the IRS on the Survivor winnings and other income, including penalties.

Hatch, who has filed an appeal of the decision with the 1st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Boston, was ordered to report for his prison term on Monday.
